DUEL OF THE CHAMPIONS (1961) - Italian production about a conflict between Romans and Albans early in Roman history. An older Allen Ladd stars as a Roman leader that deserts during a battle at a mountain pass while his whole division gets wiped out by the Albans. Alot of sword action and a cast of thousands with a decent musical score that makes this a fair sword and sandal movie. The story is interesting and ends in a 3 on 3 duel of brothers to unite the two warring peoples. Picked it up for $2.00 on DVD at ACME supermarket.
