I have many many other recordings by Beefheart, but not that one -- of course!
Vermin always shames me . . . name a pop-culture reference & he's all:  "Do you mean the '38 version, or the original pink one with bells in '22?".
Will look it up -- this has been a great thread!
There it sits in the corner:  Black and flat and waiting for me . . .
The Jehovah's Witness scenario is great!  Maybe I SHOULD just "leave it on" when company's over!!

Well, I have no idea what I'm doing here, but I'll shoot.
I noticed at least 2 people mention they wanted to build one from scratch, and while it may not be a TRUE theremin in that it uses antennas, but it works the same way.
