Has anyone seen the trailer for the new movie "Zathura"? It's on the Apple Trailers webpage right now. It's about some kids who discover an old space-themed board game in their basement- and once they start playing it they magically get transported into space (or sucked into the boardgame- whatever).

You can't really call "Zathura" a "Jumanji" rip-off, since they're both from the same author... but my god, if that isn't the very definition of "one trick pony" I don't know what is.

This same author also wrote "The Polar Express", which I never saw but I'm willing to bet it's about some kids who get sucked into a train-themed boardgame. :) j/k

I haven't seen the trailer yet, but I'm pretty excited about it.  The prop designs that have popped up over the past year or so have looked great, and Jon Favreau is directing.

I still say there should be a film about Robin William's time in the Jumanji jungle.

A bald man named Savalas visited me last night in a dream.  I think it was a Telly vision.
