The Burgomaster

In my most recent uncontrolled spending spree, I ordered the following DVDs, which just arrived in the mail yesterday . . .

* LIFE STINKS (Mel Brooks)
* PRETTY WOMAN (Julia Roberts)
* THE EVIL THAT MEN DO (Charles Bronson)
* NORTH DALLAS FORTY (Nick Nolte)
* KILLER KLOWNS FROM OUTER SPACE (can you believe I have never seen this movie?)
* LENNY (Dustin Hoffman)
* 10 TO MIDNIGHT (Charles Bronson)
* JOE (Peter Boyle)
* THE MECHANIC (Charles Bronson)
* ED WOOD (Johnny Depp)
* BLAZING SADDLES (Mel Brooks)

I also have the following on pre-order or backorder or in transit:

* SEMI-TOUGH (Burt Reynolds)
* THE MASTER GUNFIGHTER (Tom Laughlin)
* MISCHIEF (teen comedy)
* MATANGO - ATTACK OF THE MUSHROOM PEOPLE (a Japanese favorite!)
* PLEASE DON'T EAT THE DAISIES (Doris Day)
* BLACKBOARD JUNGLE (Glenn Ford)
* KANSAS CITY BOMBER (Raquel Welch)
* MCQ (John Wayne)
* THE HUNTING PARTY (Gene Hackman)

Looks like I won't be leaving the house for awhile . . .

Haven't seen Killer Clowns?  That's a fun little movie.  Sometimes they just get the cheese recipe perfect.  Kansas City Bomber is another old favorite.  Terrible movie, but it's Raquel Welch, in a roller derby outfit!  Fighting!

Burgo....Pretty Woman? Oh, you should be ashamed :- )

The 3 Bronson movies are good but I always liked the Mechanic the best, there's just something about it...I definitely like the ending.

Blazing Saddles ('Scuse me while I whip this out...) and Semi Tough are also real good choices.
Have fun staying at home.

Pretty good list Burgo.

Life Stinks and Blazing Saddles, are both great flicks - as if anything Brooks could be anything else.

Killer Klowns is another great flick.  You'll seriously enjoy this one.

The Mechanic is also a good film from what I remember.  It's been quite a while since I last saw it.

McQ is also quite entertaining as well.  One of the only good "Dirty Harry" knockoffs.

Anyway, enjoy the flicks!
