"Buffy" - heavy bad taste material

Maybe because I am a fan of the unwillingly fun and simple trash is because I enjoyed the show so much, and I am so deep rooted in this love of trash that it becomes hard to recognise!

I was by no means trying to start an argument, just pointing out some of the reasons why I don't think it's complete crap.

Angel, Buffy's spinoff, was great for the most part.  I do agree that Buffy sort of faltered a bit in the later series, but still had enough good moments to keep me obsessed.  I guess I just transferred my Buffy need to Angel, since they were pretty much the same thing.  And unlike Buffy, the last season of Angel was excellent, and very well directed and written [at least I think so anyway]

Anyway, both are gone now, along with Firefly, another of Joss Whedon's babies which was great as well.

I don't know, there's something about Whedon's style in these TV shows that really attracts me to it.

DARKWOLF, you're missing the point.  The whole show is about "Girl Power," a sort of escape for young girls, kind of like Death Wish was an escape for middle age white people in high crime areas.  As a guy you're just supposed to ogle the female stars and drool.  I mean, do you really want to see Xander doing splits and lunging at the camera??

so it seems that we talked at cross purposes. If you like buffy because it´s bad then I understand you very well.

As already I mentioned I will count myself a buffy fan if this series becomes even more crappy (here in germany it will still run for some time).

First I was a little bit shocked that you have a real fable for this stinker as if it were a really exciting and well-made series.

The only series that I really like is Al Bundy and his family (don´t know it´s english title).

Yeah Eirik men did it in pass actions shows that way. I'm just saying they should've made Xander superhuman like the other instead of leaving him out.
