Puppy Names

You might recall that last weekend, I was looking for good introductory bad movies to show my girlfriend. I think she has the makings of a bad movie enthusiast, if the latest development is any indication.

A week ago, she began fostering a rescued dog with eight puppies, about a week old. Since none of these dogs had names, she was looking for suggestions on a common theme. I gave her a list of names I liked, and after she saw the way the adorable little monsters climbed all over their mother, she decided the names fit.

The mother is now called Tokyo, and her eight little monsters are 'Zilla, Rodan, Ghidorah, Hedorah, Minya, Megalon, Crash and Stomp. Most of these can be shortened to Giddy, Heddy, Meg, Minnie, etc. The last two names were substituted for Gamera and Mothra, which Lori didn't like as much.

She has the dogs for another seven weeks, after which homes will be found for them. I hope the new owners keep the names.

Marry this chick! She has the makeings of a great companion. If all else fails, maby keep the pups you most relate to, and enjoy the looks of you neibors faces when you walk arounf the 'hood yelling ."Here, godzilla, here boy!" This sound promising!
