Which Captain Would You Choose?

Sisko is kick ass. He poisoned the atmosphere of a planet to smoke out the bad guys. He was an accomplice to a murder in order to get the Romulans into the Dominion War and I loved it when Dax told him that Worf was intimidated by  him.

Janeway!? I'm sorry but she was one of the most poorly written characters in the Trek Universe. One week she would play mommy to 7 or 9 and the next week she was Mommy Dearest.  Any psychologist would have diagnosed her as pyschotic.

Admittedly, Sisko is probably my favorite. He was a good mix of the elements which defined Kirk and Picard individually.

Actually Laura, I doubt anyone would really be picking on you if you had something useful to say. Alas, I tend to agree with your original statement, but it's the way that you just popped in here spouting crap and doing it very poorly too. Look at the most recent posts you've made...they're all troll posts really. What kind of reaction did you figure you were going to get? Or...did you get the reaction that you were looking for?

Back to the original reason for this post:

I've been thinking about this non stop.  I couldn't sleep last night as I mulled over which captain would be better.  I got up at 2 last night and wrote a 200 page essay on the pros and cons of each captain only to come to a tie.

I then called Magrathea and had them fire up Deep Thought.  After hours and hours of deliberation, it said the final and conclusive answer is:

Kirk!

I'd have to go with Captain Kirk.  I don't care about their specific attributes and abilities, I just care that Kirk would be a hell of a lot of fun to be stranded with.

But then again, he'd get annoying.....

Dammit, back to the drawing board.
