Well now I feel bad about sending you AMITYVILLE II, especially since you're a Diane Franklin fan. It's a sleazy movie.

I don't get offended by much. The only thing I really detest is hate based on willful ignorance, but I don't really see many movies like that since they don't fall under my radar.
Every dead body that is not exterminated becomes one of them. It gets up and kills. The people it kills, get up and kill.

Don't worry dude, the way it is put across in that movie is very tame. I was referring to films that have that as the main plot point. More serious films that seem to want to drill extremely touchy subject matter into you until it is unbearable, I don't get. Yes, I know bad things happen in the world so I don't need to see them in a movie.

The worst offenders are real violence and killing of animals. That's just terrible and should never be allowed period. I also detest films that try and spin rape in any positive light. Most things I can handle but it also disturbing to see real footage of deaths in some documentaries and war and disaster news footage although I recognize its historical importance but it should never be used as exploitation. Also I'm bothered by propaganda films made that preach hate towards an enemy although I also recognize their historical importance and try to always remember their source.

I've yet to be 100% truly offended by a movie.  I might squirm a bit in some of the torture porn films like Hostel but thats the point of them I suppose.  Hate for hate's sake rather than narrative progression is pretty bad, but again I don't tend to be offended; I'm find it interesting that someone would actually make it and I guess I get a bit of morbid curiosity about the fact that such a film exists more than anything.

I suppose snuff films would be pretty offensive to me if I think about it, but luckily I have thus far not seen any [as far as I know]

are the films that offend me the most, especially those made by foreign filmmakers who conveniently ignore the sh*t in their own countries and choose to crap on SA instead.
