The final episode of Lost In Space form Season One, "Follow The Leader."

WARNING: SPOILER ALERT

In this one, Prof. Robinson falls off the ledge of a cave during a quake.

When he awakes, he finds the crypt of a centuries-dead warrior who possesses his mind and body, and slowly tranforms him from a father and family man to a raving, power mad psycho who threatens the whole family. Great story and the set pieces for the warrior's tomb make some great atmosphere.

END SPOILER ALERT

This is a great example of what made the series shine, and hadmore attention to detail been present in the following seasons, we'd have seen more of the Robinsons for sure!

The Harvest Moon episode of Courage, The Cowardly Dog

plus that creepy voice

Ah yes, Courage the Cowardly Dog.  What a freaky show that was.  Here's a personal favorite.  It freaked me out the first time I saw it and nowadays all I can do is say WTF when I see it.

The "Force of Life" episode of Space 1999.  I swear it gave me nightmares when I was a little kid.

I had never seen this until last Friday when FoxRetro screened it: I can see why it scared you, Jack. All those weird angles, eerie lighting, creepy music. I admit that it raised a few of my back of the neck hairs too.  Buggedout

Ugh.. the FRIDAY THE 13TH: THE SERIES had an episode called "Quilt Of Hathor" that was a 3-parter.  Micki and Ryan visit an Amish community to try to retrieve a cursed item, the titular quilt.  Whoever has the quilt can make people die in their sleep.  One particular death was rather nauseating-- a woman makes another rip out her eyes in her sleep!  EWWW!!!

I thought I had mentioned it before but I couldn't find it in this thread, but the Star Trek: Voyager episode Macrocosm always creeped me out.  Just something about giant viruses attacking the crew just got to me.  I still can't look up info on the TV without feeling the creepiness of those creatures.

The TWILIGHT ZONE episode where the old lady was getting phone calls from her dead husband....for years, if the phone rang at night, I'd let someone else answer it.

If it's true what they say, that GOD created us in His image, then why should we not love creating, and why should we not continue to do so, as carefully and ethically as we can, on whatever scale we're capable of?

The choice is simple; refuse to create, and refuse to grow, or build, with care and love.

The Bones episode The Nightmare In The Nightmare is very creepy: especially in the deserted lab with the lights off and the warning lights flashing.  Buggedout

Something Is Out There's villain scared me as a kid.  Never forgot the scenes where it shapeshifts and where it is tunelling underground.  I was 5 years old, still remember it.

A taste of one scene is here.

When I was little I was scared for days after seeing a Twilight Zone about underwater tapping leading to the discovery of a lost submarine. When they got into the sub they found one of the long-dead sailors leaning against the hull still holding a hammer. That had me spooked like crazy and my dad kept teasing me by going, "Tap-tap-tap...."
