They are predicting up to 75F today. Very annoying, as I have already stored away my summer clothing two weeks ago.

Forecast says this is going to be a mild winter. Apparently no snow til christmas, just some rain, but I won't give up hope

We've had constant rain since last Tuesday - very welcome indeed - but today is quite hot.

I guess forecast was wrong because we got snow today around 5:30 pm, and it is still snowing as I type this.

Dense fog all day and night yesterday. Today's been very cold with wind storms and rain, and they are predicting snow and rain mix for tomorrow.

Icy underfoot which didn't melt in many places. Further inland seemed to have a couple of inches of snow.

Not too bad today. If my Grandparents were still alive today (Jan 29) would have been their 73rd wedding anniversary. On the day they got married a big ass blizzard hit. It had started snowing at about the time of their ceremony. (Back then Catholic wedding masses were very early in the morning - at about the ass crack of dawn in some cases). By the time 10am rolled around those who hadn't started for home didn't go home at all. Grandma and Grandpa had to postpone the rest of the festivities and so many people were stuck at the house they were staying Grandpa wound up sleeping in a car out in the garage.

By a series of odd coincidences due to when Grandma died (Jan 24) her funeral mass was held on Jan 29, 2015 at the same church where she and Grandpa had gotten married. It was cloudy and cold but compared to their wedding day we all joked that the weather was much better for her send off.

Snowing but not sticking. As I watch the snowflakes spill down into my koi pond they make the surface wobble like half-set Jello-o.
