I've been waiting for this one...finally watched it last night and it was pretty darn fun. I mean, it has a werewolf with a machine gun! I laughed out loud quite a few times. If you like werewolves and cop movies, you may enjoy this one.

I watched this one a couple nights ago and I agree it was a hoot!
I loved the annual "Drink  and Shoot" festival, and the idea of a late night
convenience store named "Liquor Donuts" cracked me up - especially their
slogan "What More Do You Need?"  The gore effects were very well done,
there was NO CGI, and the bartender was smokin' hot.  This is the kind of
movie that bad movie lovers live for!

One monster with extra cheese, hold the plot.

This showed up in my Amazon Suggestion section on pre-order so I checked out the trailer. I was already sold when I saw that the main character's name was "Lou Garou" and that was maybe five seconds into it so everything else after that was just piling more cheese onto the cracker. Definitely going to add it to the collection. Thumbup

I digitally rented this one and laughed my ass off so much the first viewing that I had to show my gf (she loved it). Picked it up on Blu-Ray today -can't wait to see the special features.

Yes, I loved the name, "Lou Garou" and his buddy had me in stiches too. Loved the Canadian small town location/atmosphere too. Did anyone else catch the Teen Wolf reference?

The ending scene when he went crazy with the guns was awesome (how often to you get to see a werewolf with a machine gun?).

Can't wait for part 2 (as mentioned in the credits). Also, if you detested the guy who was mean to his dog, make sure to watch the after credits sequence.

I also found a clip on youtube where the Trailer Park Boys give this movie a shoutout -that's worth checking out, too.

And CGI on the werewolf costume/effects (that I'm aware of) and I was darned glad!

Can't wait for the sequel!
