Gotta say, I've always noticed a few unlikeable patterns with the kinds of people who drive cars that run on diesel & own modular sectional furniture......

WHAT IF we had accommodations & assistance in community colleges & trade schools for the disabled AND PEOPLE WITH LEARNING DISABILITIES?

After spending five weeks at the hospital I was discharged yesterday, FINALLY. And I'll be on sick leave for at least five more months. My biggest complaint about staying at the hospital was not being able to get a single night of decent sleep because I need white noise to sleep plus the other patient in the room was constantly freezing even though it wasn't cold. He had the heater turned all the way up  Bluesad I can't sleep with a heater on. My window is open almost every night when I sleep at home.

If anything, I found a new appreciation for less-is-more breakfast they served at the hospital. Coffee, kaiser roll with a bit of butter, jam and one or two slices of cheese is really all I need in the morning. Except now that I'm home again I can make me some porridge as well  Thumbup

Just occurred to me......

What's the "REAL" difference between an MP3 album with the playlist randomizer turned on, and an old 8 track player?

I wonder what would happen if the schools taught kids investing instead of algebra...

Funny that two celebrities often portrayed in the same Will Ferrell & Darrell Hammond skit would die a week apart.........

I’d go with economics or finance over investing, but either way I think kids would need at least basic algebra to understand some of the concepts.

I was taught consumer math WAY too early...
By the time I'd gotten around to algebra, I'd forgotten it all, & then they kept trying to drill that into my head year after year with no reasonable explanation why anybody would need to know it......

The only one I smite is Zelmo, because, well, he's an obvious troll.

RIP Dr Walter E Williams... Bluesad

His principle of how many people it took to import one shipload of bananas into the US really helped me put into perspective the arguments against minimum wage...

Seen on Twitter: "Mario Lopez stars as Colonel Sanders in a Lifetime Original mini-movie called A Recipe for Seduction." Apparently not a joke?
