OK, this question isn't personal but it is strange, and I was thinking about it last night on a plane....

Why are the digits on a keyboard's number pad and the digits on a phone reversed? (The "1"  is on the upper left on a phone, the lower left on most keyboards.)

Which gives you more pleasure, giving someone a gift and seeing the happiness it brings, or getting a gift yourself?

(I've been given some nice things but honestly I think I've gotten more joy from making others happy.)

I love giving gifts. I think I enjoy giving them often more than people like receiving them.

So what a person looked like, the level of hygiene you observed, the state of health, there's nothing about appearance whatsoever that would factor into whether you ate something prepared by this person?

I know there used to be a lassie who worked in a local shop who always had a fake tan, but it just made her look dirty. I refused to let her serve me.

If you don't have cash for commissary- you ate it or you ate nothing. And you will get hungry sooner or later.
I ate hocks and beans made by my first wife- and she was nasty as homemade soap. But she made some good beans! With onions and hot peppers! She was a Texan.
