I saw this at Hasting's yesterday and had to give it a spin!  This one is kind of a combination of JURASSIC PARK and DIE HARD.
A biotech firm has genetically engineered dinosaurs and learned to control them with ultrasonice waves and restraining devices.  We aren't given a lot of info as to HOW they did it, or even WHY - in the speech where the corporate CEO (played by B-movie veteran Johnny Cox) describes the project, he basically infers that they did it "because it was cool".
Meanwhile, laid off Los Angeles Firefighter Gabe Jacobs takes his daughter to the press conference because a nephew who works for the company has gotten him tickets and the father is trying hard to reconnect with his daughter after her mother has died.  The daughter, Jade, played by Jillian Reed, is annoying and whiny but very cute (just like a real teenage daughter!).
During the press conference, the dinos break loose and begin chomping VIP guests left and right, and Jacobs has to get his daughter out of the building while dodging hungry reptiles.  The creatures themselves vary wildly in quality - in some places achievning JURASSIC PARK -like realness, in other scenes looking like refugees from a 1990's video game.
It's a cheesy JURASSIC PARK ripoff, and if you go into it with low expectations, it's actually kinda fun.

Cool!
Sounds like it needs some Joe Bob Briggs drive-totals. At least the body count...

Watched this one last night (it premiered on SyFy last week so I recorded it)... it was a fun, cheezy ride. I hadn't seen Ronny "Dick Jones from OCP" Cox in a while so it was good to see him chewing scenery again.

The CGI, while still cheap looking, seemed to be a notch above the usual Asylum standard.

Liked it. Watched it because Treat Williams was in it.

My memories of this are unclear. I think I dozed off before the end.
