Was just wondering if any of you have been watching the awesome multi-episode documentary titled
The War, directed by Ken Burns on PBS.
The first several episodes aired last week and I happened to catch them all.
It's very, very good!
It goes into so much more detail than other WW2 documentaries. Delving not only into the stories of combat, but of stories about the home front and the tremendous sacrifices American citizens made between 1941 and 1945.
It brings World War 2 to you in a way you've never experienced before.

If you thought you knew a lot about World War 2 and have seen all there is to see...think again.
This documentary will show you things you've never seen before.
I highly recommend that you check out the rest of the series.
The remaining episodes are roughly 2 hours to two and 1/2 hours long and will air this Sunday at 7pm Central time on PBS.
(if you missed the first set of episodes, don't worry. I'm sure they'll air them again.
