I know what you listen to; I read everybody's postings in this thread.  Stick to WEIRD AL, at least he has talent.
Al does have talent.  I'm not disagreeing about New Kids or the Brady kids and their lack of abilities, but I disagree somewhat about Rob Zombie.  He's got some chops, but his 'shock metal' style doesn't appeal to everyone's taste.
Hey, don't misunderstand me.  I listen to bad music all the time; I'd pick BRADY BUNCH over NEW KIDS or ROB ZOMBIE any day, frankly, and probably wouldn't mind it too much.  But all three in a row would get me down.

Well, New Kids, well, that's more of a nostalgia thing for me than anything.  When I was 5/6, the only music I was allowed to listen to was the oldies station and Top 40.  At the time, New Kids was all over top 40.  So it takes me back to when I had some fun as a kid, not knowing anything about what else was out there.  So it cheers me up on a bad day.

I like Zombie though.  I'm a big fan of hard rock/thrash/metal.  When I need that "MMMM" feeling.   Wink

All good.

"Ghosts I - IV" by Nine Inch Nails

Ambient, pretty much the definition of "meh."  I see why they gave this album away for free.

Matador Intended Play Spring 2008 Sampler - various artists

Another freebie (download here).  I've found some good indie pop/rock singles in the past off these periodic Matador samplers, so far nothing great on this one.

interesting Rev, downloading this now. I have a Matador label compilation from 1996 that has some really good tracks by the like of Spoon and Chavez on it. I'm way out of the loop as far as new 'matador label' stuff goes though but I might as well give this a try...it's got Steven Malknmus & The Jiks so there is bound to be at least one good song

DCA: I like the Jicks song, and also the Cat Power song.  Also glad to know people occasionally use the links I post to free stuff.
