Filming was completed in 2021. A theatrical release was planned for spring 2022, followed by a September 9, 2023 release announcement, but test screenings weren't good. Warner then shelved the remake based on a Stephen King novel.

Stephen King himself tweeted that the James Wan produced vampire film will have its US debut on HBO MAX in 2024.

However, the film was recently given a theatrical release date for the UK and Germany, October 2024. So maybe it will hit theaters everywhere after all.

I predict this won't be good.

I wonder when Sleepaway Camp will get its turn?

Probably too risky? It was a product of its time. I doubt that ending will fly these days, plus you don't want to upset the trans and LGBTQ community.

On a random spur-of-the-moment impulse, I added the party overhearing a conversation tonight. What they heard caught their attention and they've decided to investigate further. Now I have to turn the first Conan story I ever read (Tower of the Elephant) into a heist adventure for the party. They've been on the run for over a year now, trying to escape from the mageocracy of Thay having upset one of its ruling wizards and I figure this will give them a nice change of pace.

Then I have Call of Cthulhu to run on Sunday. Guess I'll be spending later today reading the rules and studying the scenario.

Hmm.. I'd be open to this.  A claustrophobic mine seems like the perfect setting for a horror flick in any age.  I totally dig the original.  Saw it with my mom on HBO.  We both enjoyed it.

He was only 53.  According to the news he died from cancer.  Is it just me or has cancer been taking a lot of people lately?

I thought the last remake of it was fairly decent. I wonder when Sleepaway Camp will get its turn? (Quite possibly it already has and I've either missed or ignored it).

From astral projection, telekinesis, pyrokinesis, telepathy to clairvoyance - anything goes. Good or bad movies. Submissions without a number won't count. I'll start with the most obvious one:

1. Carrie (1976)

Earth is visited by a GIANT ANTIMATTER SPACE BUZZARD! Gawk at the amazingly bad bird puppet, or chuckle over the silly dialog. This is one of the greatest b-movies ever made.
