Only one track I can really stand: the bossa-nova version of the M*A*S*H* theme!

"Soft Tissue," Tindersticks

free download: https://danacountryman.bandcamp.com/album/pop-the-world-the-free-album It's very pop.

You wouldn't think funk-jazz would go with the harp, but this slays (quietly).

Last weekend my favorite local used-music haunt posted on their 'Gram that they'd just bought "an impressive Metal CD collection," so of course I had to check that out, and boy am I glad I did, cuz I picked up these goodies:

Alice Cooper, Alice Cooper Goes to Hell (1976)

Alice Cooper, Brutal Planet (2000)

Samson, Head On (1981)
Featuring a pre-Iron Maiden Bruce Dickinson on lead vocals.

Tankard, Beast of Bourbon (2004)

Widowmaker, Stand By For Pain (1994)
Feat. former Twisted Sister vocalist Dee Snider.

Ramones, Leave Home (1977)
2000 remastered edition featuring an entire 14 song live set as bonus tracks (that's our boys!) plus the long lost track "Carbona Not Glue."

"Soft Tissue," Tindersticks

Tindersticks not heard that name in ages. having a little stream on youtube... nice. I remember their debut album getting Melody Maker's 'album of the year' back in.... '93? the singer sounded like an old man back then, lol

First I've heard of them but I like it.

"EELS" by Being Dead. I got excited because I thought it was a new Eels album.

Unpopular opinion: I like this better than the stuff he did with Sonic Youth.

He did! I saw them live somewhere in the late 90s. No idea they were still active.

yeah me neither. checked wiki and it seems they've been releasing albums fairly consistently for 30 years

dug this CD out today, one of my faves from university days, still sounds great imo

containing possibly the least commercial single ever to enter the uk top 40  (and also the only song about Einstein's parents that I'm aware of)
