Absolutely the ONLY reason to play John Elway's Quarterback for the NES: when running a "Normal" or "Reverse" Option play, throw the ball straight downfield. A receiver will come out from NOWHERE and have supersonic speed when he catches it. No one has a chance at catching him. You can effortlessly run circles around everyone. Ridiculous!
In Madden '92 or '93, a serious gaffe in the programming allows the ambulance that arrives to pick up an injured player to NAIL any player unlucky enough to stand in its way. WTF?
Tecmo Super Bowl I'd always use Bo Jackson in running plays who would usually average 50 yards per run. The first half of the season you could chuck the ball from 80 yards out and always have someone in the endzone. I'd seriously blow out most teams by 50 points.
