The place I mostly grew up in had a population of about 24,000. If you wanted someone bigger, you didn't have to travel far. Lossiemouth has about a third of that, and the closest small city is about an hour away.

What nation's food do you consider the best? Indian, for example, is hard to beat for sheer flavor.

With a few exceptions among regional cuisines, have you ever noticed how almost every type of cooking from around the world is better to eat than American food? American food is over-salted and substitutes quantity for quality. I've been to forty-nine states and 4 1/2 continents and I truly think we Americans shame ourselves on the culinary front.

^ American. Steak with onions and mushrooms, fresh mashed taters with butter, collard greens, drop biscuits- oh hell yes. Fried Chicken, sweet potatoes, black eyed peas with hot sauce- man oh man! A burger cooked on the grill, fried taters and onions, corn on the cob with butter, pork chops and mustard greens, a turkey with all the trimmings, pot roast and gravy, deviled eggs- I'm gettin' hungry!

I can't limit myself to one cuisine. I'd say Thai, Indian, and Italian are standouts.

If I were forced to stick to one, though, I think I'd take Mexican. I've been exploring authentic Mexican places lately and there's a lot more variety than I realized. Even the Tex-Mex stuff is great: real comfort food (for me, at least).

^ love real Mexican food. When I worked at Honee Bear, 3/4 of the folks who worked there were Mexican. And they brought some damn good food to work.  I can never eat at a Taco Bell. That s**t's about as Mexican as Donald Trump.

If you won a million dollars, what would be the first thing you would buy?
I'd buy my son a car.
Then I would buy myself a set of glasses. I lost mine about a year ago.

You don't need money to do that. Just go. I left home at 16 with 20 dollars in my shoe. Its hard- but it makes you strong.

I'd pay off every debt we have and buy a decent second vehicle.  I'd give both my kids $100,000 to get them OUT OF MY HOUSE.
Then I'd start doing some of the much-needed repairs on this dilapidated farmhouse we live in until the money ran out or it was fixed up.

That is almost 8 million bucks here: I would buy Mom a house and set her up there for life with a live in carer ☺️☺️

What do you think of the UFO hearings underway now? A revelation, a distraction? Will anything actually change? Are we truly any closer to proof of aliens visiting Earth?
