You boys should talk about these singers and advise us why they're "top". 67. PEGGY LEE Both clips below are "live," sort-of, and they're both the same song, different performances, both illustrating PEGGY LEE's casual, throwaway style. She had a lot of influence, believe it or not. PEGGY was the beginning of what we call ROCK n' ROLL. For white people. There aren't many earlier white artists that did what she did and sang songs like... this.

#68: Tibetan Monks An incredible unique way of singing. Most singers require an addition of instruments to add flavour to the vibe of the music, Tibetan monks just need to be either on their own or in a small group to sound massive. It's incredibly atmospheric, eerie, and relaxing. Not very much like it out there. I've even been able to train myself to perform this kind of singing. I must thank the mystics from The Dark Crystal for introducing me to this.

"Tibetan Monks" is an interesting choice. So is 69. Yma Sumac (4 1/2 octave vocal range!)

Probably about time we got an opera singer on this list... I confess I'm ignorant about them. 71. Carmen McRae
