Ambrosia Software just released a Mac port of Introversion's "Defcon."
It's a WarGames style nuke everybody game.
Yeehaw. :hot: Been working on the tutorial.
I was wondering how long before someone would mention Defcon here.
It's a great game, very fun.....reminds me a TON of Wargames.
I thought about buying this one on Steam.
I've got a couple of friends who play it all the time and they love it.
Normally, I don't get into strategy video games like this...but this one looks cool.
Here's the official Defcon trailer:

It is very well done. I'm just learning but the strategy is fun, and the WarGames style of it -- eerie music, ray tracings, and the slow pace of it... very nice. I bought a Mac version of it and have been plugging away at learning the ins and outs of it.
Zap...
Did you buy your copy through Steam (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steam_%28content_delivery%29)?
How much did you pay for it?
As I said I bought the Macintosh port. It's sold on Ambrosia Software's site.

Don't know if you're running a Mac -- but I'm figuring not, since I don't know what Steam is.
(googles)
Ah, that's what Steam is. It sez $14.95.
