A childhood friend had a lot of the pirate Playmobil toys, including the pirate ship and cannons. We would play with those for hours. Thinking back, I bet his mother got tired of stepping over us through the whole house. We would have camps, bases, lost temples, and so on in every room in the house.
We did much the same with the Lego knights, which makes sense because those and the Playmobil figs are similar.
I was more of a fan of the Knights and Western ones. My room floor was pretty much the same though with little walls, rails and horses!

I was a huge fan of this show during it's first 5-6 years or so, before it went downhill and decided to change the cast/title/costumes, etc. every year. I had, and still do have, all the action figures, "Megazords" like the one pictured above, weapons, morphers, etc. Nerdy, sure, but it was a good show. I liked the zords, as they reminded me of Transformers. Different things like a Triceratops transforming into a leg, good stuff.

This 13-inch action figure in a red jogging suit had everything - a bionic eye you could look through, a bionic arm that lifted stuff, and even a plastic engine block (!) to demonstrate Steve Austin's lifting ability. I built a ton of stuff with an Erector set, including a really intricate crane and loading system that could transfer something from the floor to a table and into a bin on the table. I remember playing it it so long that my fingers got raw from hand tightening the little fasteners down.
I also remember building something like an ATV that was created specifically to mess with the dog. It had a ram on the front.
