Just a bit of promotion for what the National Film Archives does.
Congrats!
Thanks, Captain TT: karma for you.
I normally don't like being referred to by my surname but as this was in a newspaper article (and therefore promotion for my place of work) I didn't mind.
Cool!
Thanks, Ronnie C: warm hugs, warm South African greetings and warm wishes to you, my friend. God bless you.
The people of South Africa are lucky to have you looking out for the country's film history. It's a shame this studio, or at least a part, couldn't have been preserved. At least you've got that b***hin' plaque!
Have you seen Peter Jackson's mockumentary FORGOTTEN SILVER? It supposedly chronicles the rediscovery of the works of an early innovative but forgotten New Zealand film maker. His accomplishments included inventing color and sound techniques years before they were officially introduced. The problem was his color film contained lots of nudity so it was immediately banned and his sound film was in Chinese so nobody in New Zealand could understand it!
Congratulations and keep up the good work.
Where you in crime roundup again?!!
Man wearing nothing but underwear on his head runs through city hall whilst attempting to carry several donuts without using his hands?
Good job Trevor!
You're senior archivist ?
cool
Hooray for Trevor!
Uhm...
...is this article about you, too? http://www.citizen.co.za/index/article.aspx?pDesc=59710,1,22
