Anyway, my pick is Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare (1993)
Good pick. The nadir of that film was Freddy playing the kid in the videogame and going "BOING BOING BOING BOING BOING!!!". I died a little inside at that point. :bluesad:
Going Overboard with Adam Sandler is definitely the worst movie ever. So bad it isn't funny.
I also nominate Steven Seagal's Flight of Fury.
Billy Madison
I don't know whether it's a bad movie overall as a movie, but as an X-Files movie it's a load of crap: The X-Files- I Want to Believe
Off the top of my head in no particular order:
Irreversible
Breaking the Waves
Dogville
Transformers (1 & 2)
3:10 to Yuma (Crowe)
The Others
Star Wars (3, 4, 5, 6)
The Matrix (2 & 3)
Jurassic Park (2 & 3)
Something About Mary
Million Dollar Baby
A Series of Unfortunate Events
Hannibal
The Happening
Mainstream films that everybody thought were so great but really sucked.

Have you ever seen Eegah?
Or Oasis of the zombies?
The old Star wars trilogy are classics!

Son Of The Mask! :buggedout:
How about The Chooper (not a typo) by Ray Dennis Steckler?
I have a particular dislike for "Primal Scream" (aka "Hellfire") from 1987.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0165433/ (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0165433/)
BAD, bad movies:
* CURSE OF THE HEADLESS HORSEMAN
* CONQUEST
Bad movies that were supposed to be good:
* DUNE
* WIRED
A few that come to mind:
MONSTER A GO-GO
DIARY OF A MAD BLACK WOMAN
THE SCREAMING SKULL
MOON OF THE WOLF
THE TERROR
NEKROMANTIK
THE LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT (1972)
I'm sure a few of those are favorites of some...
.OK- .PSYCHED BY THE 4-D WITCH-Total inchoherent soft core porn crap .THEY SAVED HITLERS BRAIN aka MADMAN OF MANDORAS-Convoluted spy nonsense-but so surreal...I have a love/hate realationship with this film. Of course, were all cinema masachiosts her,eh? .ZONTAR-the THING FROM VENUS-a Z budget remake of a b film (IT CONQUERED THE WORLD) by Larry Buchannan. LRRY BUCHANAN. That should tell you how cheap jack it is. Yet...I've watched it 4 times. That may say someting about my state of mind-what it says-I'm afraid to discover. Ah....But I forget....I'm on BAD MOVIES! I don't have to explain! Bad movies...it's like...bagals and cream cheese. Oh, I agree. I saw
Van Helsing in the theater and was ready for the movie to end after fifteen minutes. Unfortunately, it took another seven hours. (At least, that's how it felt.)
As far as the worst movie ever made, it is by far and hands down
Slapstick (of Another Kind) (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088134/). I can not begin to explicate how terrible this movie is. I have had hour long conversations with other people regaling them with every horrid moment of this film, long past they lost any interest.
I gave it away to Andrew as a birthday "present," but I felt I should watch it again before I cursed another person with it. I've seen it twice! Even as an exercise in awfulness it surpassed itself. For a lot of the second viewing I could laugh at how horrible it would be for another person to watch this all unexpecting. But over the course of that hour and a half my brain began to scream in horror. Humanity is not meant for such cinematic pain. I would watch
Xanadu again before submitting myself to this film. Do you hear me?
Xanadu!
You may have other movies you think are the worst movie of all time, and you may have good reasons for them, but
Slapstick is without a doubt the worst movie I have ever seen.

Oh, yes. Hell yes.
I haven't seen it from beginning to end, but the pain was unbearable when I watched parts of it.
It was on the tv, and I occasionally looked up to see what's going on. And Oh, my god. Oh, my f****** god.
Wait a minuet, are we doing "so-bad-they're-good", or so "bad-they're-Hell"?

When I think of "worst movies" I really don't consider low/no budget cheezefests because they're already at a loss. I consider atrocities created with decent budgets, real actors, directors and crews that supposedly know what they're doing.
So, Return of the Jedi is indeed a worse film than Eegah because The creators of Eegah did the best they could with what they had whereas Lucas and co. had everything they could want and still churned out a lump of crap.

I have to disagree.
First of all, Eegah was made mainly because Arch Hall Sr. wanted to help his son get into the music business. Whereas Lucas had a vision that he wanted to see on film.
He succeded in creating a whole universe, with imaginative creatures, the force, and all the other stuff.

Never Play with the Dead

Epic Movie is so-bad-it's-good. How can you not like the dumb jokes in it??
Hmm the movie that would most likely be the worst would be one so boring, so repetitive, so dull, so overlong, most would likely forget they ever saw it if they even got part of the way through it. There's certainly got to be boring 3-hour epics out there that fit this description (pretty sure they did one on WAR OF THE WORLDS in fact). Certainly names like Jerry Warren, Andy Milligan and Larry Buchanan deserve mention here too.
The Worst movie ever has got to be Troy. And not even in a so-bad-it's-good or so-bad-it's-charming way, but in a so-bad-it's-not-even-worth-watching way.

Yeah, I can honestly say that it's the worst movie I've ever seen in my entire life. It's worse than D-Wars and Dungeons and Dragons (and they're pretty bad in the bad way, too).

Arch Hall Sr and Lucas both had a vision. So Hall made Eegah and Lucas made star Wars. Both movies are fun.
Star Wars 1 & 2 (New Hope and Empire) were great. Empire is in my favorite stack. But everything after that was crap to milk the cash cow.
If you're going to make a movie about a girl boxer, don't turn it into a sermon on how if you think someone's life sucks, you should kill them.
Sorry, didn't like 'em. Didn't like Avatar either.
THE RATS ARE COMING! THE WEREWOLVES ARE HERE!
REDNECK ZOMBIES
MANOS: THE HANDS OF FATE
ZOMBIE STRIPPERS was pretty painfully bad, but not quite "Worst of all time" bad.
Personally, I really hate the phrase "Worst movie of all time" because I feel like it's so damned overused. I've heard so many people describe any movie they dislike as "the worst movie ever."

Okay. If you don't like them, that's fine. I just don't think that they are the WORST movies ever made.
And yeah, the "new" trilogy shouldn't exist. It's horrible.
As for Avatar, I don't know, I haven't seen it.
There are those movies (the majority) that suffer from bad acting, poor direction, horrible music and dialog that were made by totally incompetent people and even those that should know better.
But the the worse movies (IMHO) are those pretentious pieces of s**t that get made with giant budgets, big name directors and/or stars and pushed on audiences as the latest and greatest when all they are are pointless pieces of crap or public masturbation. Avatar falls right into that category.

I agree Saucerman.
On a similar note, It seems to me that no one movie will ever be the worst.
Also, I feel that the worst movies are those that are just plain boring.
This is because a movie should do one or more of the following:
1. entertain
2. provoke/stimulate thought
3. educate
4. provoke/stimulate emotion
If anybody thinks of something else, please let me know!
