When I was little, I thought Andre was the greatest - the friendly giant. Of course in reality he had constant hardship to deal with and the sad fact was he was treated as something of a circus attraction for many years...no wonder he grew bad tempered.

I read that when he was in "The Princess Bride" he couldn't even pick up Robin Wright,as light as she was. He needed cables or something to help. Sad...I loved watching him wrestle. I even remember when they tried, for a short time,to portray him as a bad guy. Please! That so didn't work.

For RCMerchant / BELA: HURRICANE SMITH "Who Was It?" a huge hit in Britain in 1971, before "Oh Babe, What Would You Say?" was HURRICANE's only USA hit:
EDIT: Wrong! I think this was his last hit in Britain, a few weeks or months after "Oh Babe, What Would You Say?" and went not so high there to like #23...?

For Darksider (Mr. DS):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FagjnIgUk6Q
Please note nobody probably likes this video, but it was HOWARD JONES' one really great song... which makes me think of you. Great. I know you'd never wear no flip-flops on the off chance you might appear on "Antiques Roadshow" like the guy did on PBS tonight, since one might expect probably to stand in lines, well, for awhile. I don't understand a man in flip-flops waiting in lines to get into an urban center to possibly appear on television practically barefoot? Perhaps bleeding... ? :bouncegiggle: :bouncegiggle: I wanna stomp on those unprotected feet! :bouncegiggle: :bouncegiggle:

I guess I'd like your opinion on this. A song called "Genius in France" by "Weird Al' Yankovic.
It's an 8 minute or so 'homage' to Frank Zappa.
I like it overall. Zappa's great. It's not a direct parody. Occasionally Al does 'homages' or 'style parodies" where he kinda parodies an 'overall' style of an artist, ie: Talking Heads, Zappa, DEVO.
