Well, yeah. It was added to the count right after you posted.
I think THE WITCH (1952) should also count. It's kind of swampland though there do appear to be some farming-type people in the community iirc.

I grew up on an old converted farm... we still had a steady stream of animals though, as pets... dogs, cats, guinea pigs, chickens / roosters, and even a donkey at one stage.
when they inevitably died (of old age, or in some of the cats' cases sadly getting run over in the lane outside) my dad would bury them all in the same spot, so we literally had an animal graveyard at the end of one field... horror movie fodder right there :)

My dad's parents had a farm in the middle of nowhere. They had a couple fields, one horse for plowing and transportation, chicken, and maybe a dog (I think to remember my dad mention a dog once). He would sometimes ride the horse to school, and apparently the horse always knew its way home. I never asked what became of the horse but I assume it died of old age.
well as they say "a horse never forgets". or is it elephant? I've forgotten ... we never had horses but there was a row of stables next to the main farmhouse. my dad converted them into offices for his accounting business
also local farmers used to hire out a couple of our fields to put their sheep + cows on... never felt remotely threatened by sheep or cows, docile as you like...but bulls are terrifying. had a very sketchy standoff with a bull once. (it cornered me in a field, I wasn't intentionally looking for trouble, honest)
I grew up in farmland. Still live in farmland. Corn, soybeans, grapes, etc...
The population of Lawton is 1,824.

Here's a complete list of all the films listed so far. Numbering wasn't too far off this time:
I was about to post one, so, thanks!
Welcome! If Mexico counts, i have two more:
73) The Black Scorpion
74) The Beast of Hollow Mountain
Both films feature ranching communities facing giant monsters.
^ the BLACK SCORPIAN is cool!

67. DEMENTED DEATH FARM MASSACRE (1987) This is actually a 1970's soft core porno named HONEY BRITCHES with new scenes of John Carradine babbling the usual claptrap added. A bad, BAD, very bad movie.

I'll pitch in two cents here and say that (though it is very very bad) DDFM delivered plenty of chuckles for me. The acting is hilariously over-the-top and a couple of the actresses are very nice to look at, plus Carradine's very brief "usual claptrap" actually amused me and added to the proceedings. Hey, this is BadMovies.org, so if you like 'em entertainingly bad, this one fit my bill.
^I did NOT like it! Mebbe if I was drunk. Mebbe not. My tolerance for garbage only extends so far.
75. FleshEater (1988)

I have an 80s horror which features death by tractor... can't remember if that's the only farm related incident in the whole movie. if so then I guess that's stretching it a little? will rewatch later and reveal it, if I think it qualifies
^ taking a wild guess, but I think it might be
Quote14. Deadly Blessing (1981)
76. Dead Meat (2004)

Nope... I'm keeping tabs on movies voted for already... but you almost couldn't be closer :)
okay I just rewatched the film in question, which was THE HILLS HAVE EYES PART 2 (so Wes Craven's next but one movie, weirdly enough)
the scene which in my head I somehow remembered as 'death by tractor', is actually just one of the characters briefly chasing another character in a bus.... Fail
this is getting tough.
77) Kaw (2006)
78. Rawhead Rex (1986)

79.) HACK-O-LANTERN! (1988)
...Just watched it last Halloween and already forgot about it. (...MERCIFULLY!)
80.) Anybody mention HALLOWEEN V yet? Lengthy sequence in and around a barn and surrounding cornfield.
