okay I just rewatched the film in question, which was THE HILLS HAVE EYES PART 2 (so Wes Craven's next but one movie, weirdly enough)

the scene which in my head I somehow remembered as 'death by tractor', is actually just one of the characters briefly chasing another character in a bus.... Fail  

this is getting tough.
