To parallel the other awesome topic of the opposite nature found on the Bad Movies board, I've decided to start a 100 countdown on Family and Kid movies that were infinitely better than ones posted on the other side. I realize that in doing this, there will probably be a lot of repeats (I know a saw a few people say, "Hey! I loved that movie!").
Go ahead! Look for those movies you loved as a kid and still like today out of sheer nostalgia; or even the movies you have watched with your family and enjoyed; or, hell, one you happened to watch and thought was at least palletable.
Remember, one movie per post.
I'll kick it off with:
1. The Neverending Story

Shouldn't this be in the good movies board ?
Course, the "ghost dream sequence" scene might lead to some interesting questions from the kids...
:)

Y'know, I've always been slightly uncomfortable with that bit.

38. The Secret of NIMH
39.Can't believe this hasn't made the list yet....for me...an enduring childhood memory. Even in our disfunctunal family (read that as drunken madness) the WIZARD of OZ was a annual get together. With a big ol' pot of Popeye's popcorn!
