RIP, Kolchak.  That was a great series.  If they ever made a serious attempt at redoing it, it would probably be filled with explosions and have romantic tension between Kolchak and some buxom police Lt.  Oh, and Kolchak would have expert ninja training.  What I liked about the series was that he was somewhat of a nebbish.

And those are bad things how?

 -_-;

And what does nebbish mean? I'm picturing "normal" as in Kolchak wasn't an invincible action man but a normal every day guy more or less.
Now it's time to sing the nation anthem IN AMERICA!!!

From Dictionary.com

A weak-willed, timid, or ineffectual person.

Professor Hathaway:  I noticed you stopped stuttering.
Bodie:      I've been giving myself shock treatments.
Professor Hathaway: Up the voltage.
