I still haven't seen it. Is it worth watching?

It all depends on what you like in humour I guess.  My ex hated it and found it really boring because she didn't get the humour, but I loved it.

Have you seen any of Wes Anderson's other films?  Films such as Rushmore and Royal Tenenbaums give you a good idea of what sort of film this is like, though I personally found Life Aquatic much funnier than Royal Tenenbaums.

At the very least it's worth a look!

I thought it was too plot-heavy for a comedy. The movie didn't seem to know what it wanted to be, at times being serious enough for a drama and at other times being dumber than the average Ben Stiller movie. I also thought it was a little too long. All-in-all I'd say pass, unless you're a huge Bill Murray fan.

I really enjoyed THE LIFE AQUATIC and still have ROYAL TANANBAUMS on my list.

RUSHMORE was ok, but THE LIFE AQUATIC was better overall.

Bill Murray is one of the greatest.

I thought 'Royal Tenenbaums' was worth watching, and if you say 'Aquatic Life' is better then I think I'll see it. Haven't seen 'Rushmore'.

LIFE AQUATIC is better than RUSHMORE in my opinion. Also I haven't seen ROYAL TANANBAUMS yet.

Wes Anderson's movies are definately not for everyone.  I liked the Royal Tenenbaums and loved Life Aquatic.  Heh, so far of all the people I've watched them with I'm the only one who liked either.  :)

But as far as Anderson's movies go, I think Life Aquatic is his best.  I thought the soundtrack was great, as was Bill Murray.   I'm not the biggest fan of Owen Wilson, but he did a great job in this movie.

I absolutely loved Life Aquatic, but I'm still more partial to Royal Tenenbaums.  Something about that film just really works for me, and it's one that I can watch over and over.

Life Aquatic is a really beautiful movie, and it is quite funny.  I think this has more to do with Noah Baumbach than with Anderson, although Wes is quite witty and funny.  If you enjoyed any of Anderson's earlier films, then Life Aquatic is one you will enjoy.

In my local Blockbuster, "The Life Aquatic with Seve Zissou" is placed in the Kids and Family section.

Tells a lot about the movie.

No that tells you alot about the clueless idiots who put it there in that section.

Yeah, the Life Aquatic certainly shouldn't be there.

Well, "Cowboy Bebop: Knocking on Heaven's Door" is also in that section...

So yeah, maybe I should complain.
