As usual I very rarely pop up on the message board, but I could not prewarn my fellow b movie fans.  In the up coming months my husband will be putting up a review for a movie that could possible be one of the worst movies I have ever seen.  I beg you...Do Not Watch this movie.  It looks promising from the big named stars in it, but that is only a ploy to get you to watch it.  I repeat DO NOT WATCH "Heatbeeps"!!!!!!  Just don't do it!  I actually took physicly ill the next day.

Never heard of it. Sorry Miz Borntreger but that sounds like a challenge! I'll keep an eye out for it.
Now it's time to sing the nation anthem IN AMERICA!!!

Katie,

Ahhh...Heartbeeps.  That's actually a film that I remember quite fondly from my childhood.  Actually couldn't remember the name of the film until a few months ago when someone on this board gave me the name.  I've since watched the film again, and it is quite bad.  Still holds quite a bit of nolstalgia for me though.

A bald man named Savalas visited me last night in a dream.  I think it was a Telly vision.

I've heard of it, but never seen it. Isn't it about robots in love or something stupid like that?

I've often wondered how someone can live with someone else who watches films that- to them- are the equivilant to self-torture. It must be "fun" :)

Ed, Ego and Superego

It was on HBO a lot in the early 80's.   I don't recall it being all that bad, just overly dumb.

Hey now who wouldn't just fall in love with these two lovely Robots.

And you thought Trek isn't cool.

Heh, Katie had not even told me she posted about "Heartbeeps."

I have to say, bad comedies are torture to me.  In addition, the writers tried to make all sorts of quirky connections between the robots' actions and real people.  Everything from Aqua and Val being caught in an intimate moment by their child to the entirely invented "We have not exchanged information in 4.62 miles.  Why are we no longer efficient?" scene.

Pure, hateful pain.  This one is getting a skull.

Heartbeeps is the greatest mov .... BARRRRFFFFF!

I'm sorry, it was too much BS for me to stand.

There are much much worse out there.  Stupidity does not merit a skull.  Inane dialogue does not merit a skull.

Disjointed storylines, stupid costumes, bad dialogue, horrible special effects and bizarre plot twists merit skulls.  Ator the Fight Eagle deserves a skull.  Heartbeeps does not.

You tell 'em Shadowphile!!
Skulls should be few and far between -- ROBOCHIC merits its coveted single skull, and it would cheapen it if won too easily --

Sad, in a way, how it seems to make Andy Kaufman that much more of a tragic figure.

I vaguely remember watching this movie when I was a kid.
Don't remember much about it.
