I regret that I'm too cheap to pay for cable, but trust that this -- I can only expect -- utterly out of control weird-fest will be available on discs and boots.
Shatner is notorious for taking his "craft" waaayyy too seriously, and his alleged "self-mockery" really only applies when he does it -- He won't go along, generally, if others are asking him to mock himself, so I expect him to lose his temper and throttle someone.

I am going to have to see this one.  As has been said, he just begs for the roasting.  If anything, William Shatner is the reason a comic roast was created.  At the moment it happens I would not be surprised if the world ended, since it had now accomplished its reason for being (free will and the number 42 notwithstanding).

It will also be amusing to see his response to the verbal dissection.  Amused?  Trying to contain his anger and appear amused?  Or...plainly...amazed...that...people...think...he...talks...funny.
