Boy, this board is about as dried up as my yard after a month of 95 plus temperatures. I can't believe how long some of these posts are staying on the first page.

And you thought Trek isn't cool.

There's no air condition in my house, so it's less stuffy outside, where there's no computer sadly.

Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum is what turned me off about a year ago.

I think either the COLOSSUS AND THE AMAZON QUEEN or HEART BEEPS thread scared off all but the most stalwart bad movie fans.

The non-flat thread makes it an itch-bay to read, therefore less posting I would imagine. (Yes I know there's a way to make it all flat-reading again via options but that's a pain too.)

I don't see what heat has to do with message boards, computers are generally contained inside spacey, air-conditioned rooms.

Not mine, Briggs. It's gonna get hot in this room soon.

This old ASUS A7A-266 is startin' to get a few gremlins, & I've been getting... these... pains... in... my... head.

Mr Biggs Inc is clearly not your average bad movie fan.  The closest my computer room gets to AC is an open window and a fan.

70 degrees in Olympia today.    Gloat.  Gloat.

But I did see an article today on CNN about a lady in NH who was baking cookies in her car.  She'd put the dough on sheets, put it on her dashboard, shut the car up and run back into her air-conditioned office.

She says that it works if it's 95 degrees or more outside, so that the car interior makes it to about 200 deg.  Baking time is a little longer.   =)

I have a new baby (2 months old) so harder to get to see movies right now.  Did get to see "My Super Ex Girlfriend," which was bad but it wasn't, you know,  BAD so I didn't post anything.

I don't know if I can bring myself to watch HEARTBEEPS.  If Andrew's wife saw fit to post a warning, that's enough to frighten me a little.  I've never seen her do that before.

I've been under the radar making my own movies these past few months. We finished creating the DVD for one of them today and will press them tomorrow, editing is still in full swing for the feature length, my next project (a music video) is starting to look promising, and I've got a film festival to plan for in the upcoming months so I've been trying to get a website up, trying to find a new job, not to mention my side projects, and a stack more of miscellaneous DVD's to author.

However, I have been watching movies, but they have all been good. And I mean, real movies like Kagemusha, 8 1/2, Strike!, Olympia, Man With A Movie Camera, and other heavy weights in the cinematic world. I kinda got tired of being assaulted with useless images of people rowing boats, riding in cars, riding motorcycles, women screaming at trees, men throwing sodium on indistinguishible hotdog monsters, and dog knows what else they threw in b-movies. It's just a passing phase though. I'll jump off the wagon of good movies the second I see an inside the refridgerator shot.

Wish me luck in my endeavors.

Well I recently purchased Cherry 2000 on a whim and watched Bloodrayne, so I'm about due for a 'recent viewings post' but if hot weather's an excuse for an absence then you can count me out of that one, since it's fairly cold here right now, which would normally mean more inside time.

Though I did create a blog, one bored monday night, so that could have something to do with it...

So yes, more to come I hope, when I find the time to sit on my ass for long enough to write a review!

Also Scottie, how'd the 48 hr filmmaking competition go?  I was playing around with the idea of having my own 48 hour filmmaking craziness in honour of that competition, but then realised I don't have 48 hours in a row free so it wouldn't have worked out.  Hope you do well and all that!
