Hey guys,

I need your honest opinions.
I need to know what you think are the best five reviews here on this website.
They can be a combination of reader reviews and/or Andrew's reviews.

I want all of your opinions.
When enough people have responded, I'll tally up the results and post the Five Most Popular Reviews on the Badmovies.org Official Myspace Page.

For those of you who aren't into the Myspace thing, you'll also have the results here on this phorum...so it's a win-win situation!

What do you think?
Name your top 5 favorite reviews!

Does this include reviews posted on the forum?

OK!I'm back and ready! I only rated Andrew's reviews, simply because I'm kinda a newbie, and it would be unfair for me to rate reviews by board members when I am not famaliar with all the reviews.OK....
My criteriea for rating is easy-if it's funny and accurate.(Funny is a plus for me,because I am a cartoonist-Not a famous one but....)
The CAR
VAMPIREMEN of the LOST PLANET
REPTILICUS
MANOS-the HANDS of FATE
the TRIAL of BILLY JACK (that line about a little girl beatin' a cat against a wall for 3 hours near made me spit my sippin whiskey out my nose...and that can be dangerous.)
Supernatural?...perhaps. Baloney?...Perhaps not!" Bela Lugosi-the BLACK CAT (1934)

Lugosi-"No. Dracula-never ends."

I'll look over my usual stand-by list and get back to ya.  There's gold there in films I haven't seen, but read the review so it's all good from what I have seen.

I read all of hte reviews may years ago...now I only re-read them if one comes up for some reason, and new ones as they are posted.  So it's difficult for me to categorize as I'd probably have to re-read them all again.

Plus, Andrew's writing syle has changed.  He used to give just a breif synopsis of his impressions of the movie, so you didn't get much of an idea of the movie itslef so much as what his reaction to it.  His laer reviews have a lot more plot and story detail.  It's not a cut and dried distinction, just a gradual change over time.  So it's difficult to really compare two reviews of different eras to each other because they have different approaches and feels.

Plus, "Best" is a nebelous term.  There are reviews that i rnjoy thr review of because of the way it's written.  Reviews that make me want to go out and rent a movie I have't seen.  Reviews of movies I have seen already that capture  the appeal. pr lack of, of the given movie, etc...trying to define a 'best' is difficult.  Reviews are good or bad for a lot of different reasons.

What you really need are the 5 most proto-typical reviews.  Reviews that sum up what badmovies.org is all about.  5 reviews that, if you put on myspace, are the reviews you think would draw someone to be interested in coming to this site to check out more.

You put the review of ROBO-C.H.I.C. as review number one
Barn of the Blood Llama as number 2
Any of the Kaiju reviews, preferably with Gojira, as numbers 3 through 5 -- Andrew really makes me laugh when he writes about guys in rubber suits --
peter johnson/gimp the satan's onion
I have no idea what this means.

Ash, there is absolutely no reason to be insulting and, frankly, your tone lately has been largely insulting.  Everyone has opinions and ideas.  They are not always going to match up.  The key is that, often, you can respect someone else's view.

If someone asked my opinion and then responded like that to me thinking aloud I would tell them to take a flying leap.

Tone it down.
