Create Your Own WIP Flick

Well..not exactly.

This is an article, from one of my sites, called the WIP Flick Create-a-Plot. I thought some of the members might get a kick out of this; or, perhaps, I might get kicked for it.:P

Just pick and choose the elements you want for your own WIP Flick plot.

For those who do not know, a WIP Flick is a women in prison movie.

My apologies upfront to the ladies of the board for the subject matter; there is 0 political correctness to this article.

I have changed some of the wording to make it more appropriate for the board.

Firehoses, handcuffs, chains; the ingredients need by an emergency response team?

No; just a few of the ingredients possible in any good Women In Prison ( WIP ) Flick. To that, we can add shower scenes, lashings, baton beatings, sweat, nudity...oh, and let's not forget the all important lesbian scenes.

WIP flicks have a certain charm to them; they are frankly our fantasies of the taboo molestation and imprisonment of women brought to the screen for our enjoyment. Let's face it, we enjoy the fantasy of being able to imprison a woman ( too many men practice this today in what we call bad marriages ), tie her up, strip her nude, wash her down, watch her squirm in mud, and see her and another woman fulfill each other's sexual desires.

In many parts of the world, supposedly, this type of treatment is against the law ( apparently abusive marriages are not, though ). Enter the third world nation.

Oppressive regimes and banana republics have been fodder ( and well deserved ) for the plots of many WIP flicks. This has a multifold reason: 1) tropical, if not hot and sweaty, locales are ideal for working women in the nude; 2) as the republic often represented are small, not on any map, nations, the filmmakers can take complete liberty with the story, even having a dictatorship overthrown; 3) being that it is an oppressive regime, the heroine of the film could very well be in prison on false charges, which would, supposedly, make her fight more sympathetic; 4) as it is a third world country, being participants of a relatively cushy lifestyle in comparison, who gives a damn about them? ( that part is sad )

Despite the popularity of plots involving third world countries in WIP flicks, they have not completely cornered the market, as many WIP flicks have been based in the United States, or other prominent countries as well. Regardless of the setting for the WIP flick, there are elements which most, if not all have in common among their diversity of plots ( okay, I damn near laughed myself to death too when I said diversity ).

For your entertainment, I present the WIP Flick Create-a-Plot. Take the plot elements you want, and then add your favorite naked actresses.


The WIP Flick Create-a-Plot


The heroine is:


*An innocent woman imprisoned on trumped up charges by ignorant locals
*An innocent woman imprisoned on trumped up charges by corrupt authorities
*A bystander abducted by, or otherwise imprisoned, by a corrupt regime
*A revolutionary being held by an oppressive dictator to quell her activities ( I guess imprisonment is cheaper than a bullet )
*Actually guilty of something, but it's not that bad ( nobody with a body like that can be all bad )


She is being held:

*In a labor camp operated by an oppressive regime
*An oppressive prison used to hold enemies of the state
*A tropical island fraught with danger
*A backwoods Southern prison ( with a skinny dipping pond of course )
*A maximum security prison


The warden at the prison is:

*Evil, corrupt, and should be convicted of being a rapist
*Evil, corrupt, and a lesbian
*Evil, corrupt, and a sadist
*Any combination of the above


Most of the guards, if not all, are:

*Rapists
*Sadists
*Lesbians
*Borderline retarded
*Baton lovers
*Whip lovers
*Just plain sadists, regardless of the implement they use
*Any combination of the above ( and don't forget to add evil and corrupt to all choices )


( Optional ) The heroine is initiated into prison by:

*A shower scene
*A beating by the guards
*A beating by her fellow inmates
*Being raped by a guard or guards
*Being raped by her fellow inmates
*A challenge from an inmate


( Optional ) The heroine has a special task to complete, which is:

*Getting information to a prisoner
*Getting information from a prisoner
*Collecting inciminating evidence on the warden and/or guards
*Breaking a prisoner out of jail
*Setting up the prison/camp to be overthrown by revolutionaries


The heroine is taken under the arm of:

*An older inmate who is watching out for her
*A tough lesbian inmate who is watching her ass ( in more ways than one )
*A lifer who wants to see someone beat the system
*A squirrely inmate who is streetsmart


The heroine is befriended by a sympathetic non-prisoner, who is:

*The prison doctor ( 80% or better chance of it being this character )
*A sympathetic prison guard ( is that an oxymoron )
*An insider looking to take down the warden
*An outsider looking to expose corrupt activities at the prison


( Optional ) Comic relief is provided by:

*A prison guard who can't get laid
*A prison guard who is also the general store
*An inmate who has bad comic timing
*An inmate who is the prison general store
*The prison b***h
*Lots of bad acting and/or dialogue
*Any two of the above


The end goal of the heroine is:

*To break out of prison
*To prove her innocence
*To overthrow the prison
*To depose the warden
*Any combination of the above



Alas, you can go through the above Create-a-Plot and find the plot and characters to most any WIP flick ever made. Is this to say that WIP flicks lack much plot diversity? I actually don't know the answer to that as I am busy, as is any other WIP flick lover, watching the movies for other reasons than the plot. The WIP flick has developed a successful formula of providing a film with a cookie cutter, fill-in-the-blank plot which moves the story along while giving us plenty of what we really want to see; T&A and lesbians.
