The remaining miniturized woman returned in the multi-sequel DOLLMAN VS DEMONIC TOYS, where she hooked up with the title mini-cop...but that's a whole other piece of cine-poop. I propose another sequel, DOLLMAN VS GODZILLA. Very short, I think.

I was just wandering...who sings manic depresso???
that song is cool

Stanky Poozle

SYKOTIK SINFONEY does both MANIC DEPRESSO and MR. COOL, I definitely recommend getting a copy of the soundtrack. You can still buy it from FULL MOON!!!

Not a lot to say about this movie.

It really has nothing going for it (Many movies have more skin, or better aliens, or better comedy).  Nevertheless, you should enjoy this movie.
It has nice pace and atmosphere.  You don't want any of the characters to shut-up and die.
This tends to be one of the key features in a good bad movie.

Worth seeing with minor praise.

Heh.  I remember running across the CD several years back in a used music store.  I bought it before my friend had a chance to get it, simply to torture him (he's a huge BOC fan).  Not a bad soundtrack, as far as B-Movie soundtracks go.

mdchick

you can't deny a classic line like "tippy-toe through the dafoldills"

Sykotic Sinfoney's music will make you frolic uncontrolably with blatant disregard for human saftey!
Side effects are Nausia, oily discharge associated with bloating and sporadic bowel movements.

Oh come on, don't be so hard on the movie...  It was probably abused as a kid.  It had good taste in music though, I mean think about how many bands wouldn't be around if the bands on this movie didn't exist... hmmm...

Sorry about that... I was just thinking about 'The Jokers' not existing and fell into a coma of bliss.

BOC Fan

I taped the movie off of Cinemax about 8 years
ago hoping to see Charlie Spradling nude, fast forwarded through it, she wasn't, so I only watched it just recently for the BOC and SS
music. BOC's music, both the two songs and the score, are great. But the real discovery is SS and how they looked. Their two songs are obviously great, but 'Manic Depresso' is an
unheralded classic. The above mentioned website
for SS is awesome...definitely check it out.
Oh, and BUY THE SOUNDTRACK!! It's been reissued
on Angel Air Records and is fantastic stuff.

I'm so glad that the great band that i never heard of before called sykotic sinfoney played cause the movie quite frankly sucked as well as BOC does in my opinion. you should check out their webpage to download more songs including live songs as well. they should get back together and make a CD. by the way the URL for their site is http://www.sykotiksinfoney.com check it out. I'm sure you'll love it as much as i.

I remember the first time I watched Bad Channels, I picked it up because I'd enjoyed some of Full Moon's other flicks.  Bad Channels was...well...bad, but yeah, when I saw and heard Manic Depresso I went berserk trying to find it somewhere, anywhere.  I wasn't on the net yet and it drove me bats, which is ironic really... anyhoo, now I've got it, and it became the theme for my now defunct internet radio show the MadHouse. (Non-profit kids, no worries.) Great song, great scene in the movie.
