Attack of the killer armadillo!!!

Does anyone else get the Showtime Beyon channel? I really like it. It's nothing but sci-fi, horror and anime. Anyway the other night I was watching this channel and I had a jim-dandy time with a little gem called "Dark Universe". It looks like it was finaced on an 8-year-old's allowance. It's got one of the bad movie greats- Joe Estevez! A finer thespian than his brother or nephews, in my opinion. The story centers around an astronaut who is turned into a horribly cheap Alien-like monster whose ship crashes in the Everglades. The acting's laugh-out-loud terrible and it may very well have been shot in someone's backyard. It has two gratuitous breast shots and a dog named Cracker. "C'mere, Cracker! Ah, Cracker, where are you?" He-he! And there's a scene where this couple is gettin' it awn and the guy is attacked by a mutant armadillo! This is a great little flick and if it comes on again I'll tape it and review it for the site.
