looking for a independent 90s sci fi

Independent meaning very low budget, like something direct to video and obviously a film with limited resources?  Those can be difficult to find, because so few people have seen them. 

The only thing that jumped to mind was the "Alien Agenda" films that Nathan over at Cold Fusion has been exposed to.  This guy was a director involved in them.  His IMDB profile has the films listed:

Ok, i know the movie, its a Peter Jackson movie about aliens but i cant remember the name. Cover of movie has an Alien giving you the finger. There is a scene were a goat or a sheep gets blown up with a bazooka right?

I am afraid that, while "Bad Taste" does match part of the description (the battle at the end), overall too many factors appear that do not match the Peter Jackson film.  "Bad Taste" is 99% likely to be a dead end search.

I have a good possibility on this one, but cannot find further information.  Both IMDB and my Psychotronic are short on details.

its not bad tast and its defenitly low budget and the gun that fires backwards doesn't  kill people it teleports them somewhere
