Goodbye Yvonne ....

Before she was an Munster she was in a lot of now forgotten to time films and a few big ones. She was so ... dare I say HOT? Even though she is/was nearly as old as my Grandmother.

R.I.P. Yvonne DeCarlo. A model example to generations who watched her as Lily Munster and a true movie beauty queen prior to that. Her sweetness and comic abilities as Lily Munster in particular will never be forgotten.

I have not seen her often outside of "The Munsters," but a number of the pictures that were posted here and elsewhere definitely showed the fact that she was an attractive woman. Of course, Audrey Hepburn in her prime was also enough to make a man cry.

In December I picked up a film that Yvonne De Carlo stars in called FORT ALGIERS (1953). Haven't watched a movie since December 24th and this might be the first film that I watch for the New Year. I hear she plays a real tough spy in Algieria.
