    I remember a while back I saw a movie with a,...... it looked like some kind of machine that pressed clothes to dry them. I think it was called " The Mangler". New monster(machine).

No biggy, then let's go with BUGS! Not all bugs, insects only ... 6 legged freaks. Remember Scorpions, Spiders, and other members of the arthropod phylum that have more or less than 6 legs are technically not insects.

Movie with an "eye" is IT CAME FROM OUTER SPACE. The film had some kind of glossy alien eye from which the viewer saw the next victim from.
