Just viewed LEGEND OF THE SEVEN GOLDEN VAMPIRES. This hammer film starring Peter Cushing is a 70's Hammer film. The film itself could give ARMY OF DARKNESS or TOMBS OF THE BLIND DEAD a run for their money. The scenes at the beginning with the army of the dead coming out of the graves to rape and kill the people of the nearby village is great stuff. The seven golden vampires ride horseback. Then there is the drinking of the virgins blood on the stone slabs, and last but not least kung fu action. Did I mention Peter Cushing does some great acting in this martial arts film? This film is a mix of Hong Kong Cinema and classic Hammer style filmmaking.

If you like ARMY OF DARKNESS or TOMBS OF THE BLIND DEAD then check this film out.

Oh, thanks, did it already and loved it, though it is not the best Hammer produced. Just loved the insane but working mixture of kung-fu and horror, and some of the ideas are so insane they almost made me forget all the rest. Kudos to whoever though of tying nude asian girls to that giant fruit squezer.
