Hey, I found some still and such from the upcoming show:
http://www.scifi.com/dresden/

I"m a bit disappointed...no one matches my imagined versions, everyoneis is so darn "pretty".   I hope this is not some Kolchak (last year's Night Hunter) sort of thing.

Thanks for the link Ed. I know they have changed a few things. He drives an old jeep in the series, the Blue Beetle would have been hard for them to shoot the inside of. His staff is a hockey stick and I think the blasting rod is a baseball bat. The biggest change is Bob, instead of just the skull talking he comes out of the skull and takes on a ghostly human form (the white haired guy in those pictures)when talking to Harry. The producers said Harry just talking to the skull was not working.

We'll find out Sunday night.  I just hope Harry is the same smart-ass guy I love from the books.

And you thought Trek isn't cool.

Me too, I'm looking forward to it.   The bit in the books where he attended the council meeting in a bathrobe had me rolling.

I have to say I liked it.  I will definitely watch again.

I have yet to watch the episode that aired last night.  I ended up Tivoing it and going to bed early.

I've never read any of the Dresden books, but I've head nothing but good things from you guys here on the board.  Can't wait to watch it.

A bald man named Savalas visited me last night in a dream.  I think it was a Telly vision.

I usually give a tv show 3 or 4 episodes before I decide how good it is (that is unless it's real a POS).

I liked the episode Sunday too. SciFi is doing they're usual and showing the series out of production order, so the pilot will be shown in two parts later in the season. It's the only episode based on one of the books (Storm Front).

I hope the show does well.

Watching the tape last night, I wondered if that was the case. The episode just didn't "feel" like a first episode.

I hate it when networks do that.

The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin.
