Just in case you are home with nothing much happening.  TCM has Freaks on tonight.

I'm going to reiterate my comment from the Wizards thread:

"...can we move this to the Good Movies section of the board?"

I do not wish to start playing games by moving threads around when it is not needed.  Ed placed it here and it is not entirely inappropriate for this section, as bad on the site means bad, b-movie, and cult films.

And this is certainly a cult film.

One of the few movies to actually scare me.

But the audience reaction to the film was so negative, that it just about ruined the career of director Tod Browning.

Still, a historical piece of celluloid, as it contains some of the last remaining film footage of such sideshow stars as Harry and Daisy Earles, the Hilton Twins, Schlitze, Josephine Joseph, Johnny Eck, Frances O'Connor, Olga Roderick, Koo Koo, Prince Radian, Martha Morris, Elvira and Jenny Lee Snow, and Elizabeth Green.

I do not understand WHY you have to watch this on TCM?

This movie is REQUIRED to be in any b-grade, cult, classic movie collection, if you do not have it, then forshame ... redeem yourself and get it today.

What next PB&J without the J? Prehaps having Dr. Strangelove is optional too.

Sinners. repent now before its to late!

Thanks for the heads up on this one Ed.

I was unable to watch it but I did happen to DVR it.  It's a film that I've always wanted to see but have never gotten around to.

A bald man named Savalas visited me last night in a dream.  I think it was a Telly vision.

Dr. Strangelove is required for a cult film colleciotn?

Sinner, your going to burn in the firey depths ... may God have mercy on your soul.

I know films, but, cult films? It seems pretty mainstream to me

To a degree it is, but it is still listed by many as a cult film. Just as with say "Easy Rider" a mainstream film but branded a cult classic.
Now it's not a closet cult film like "Freaks", "El Topo", or "Faster p***ycat Kill, Kill" and many even more obscure than those.
