Ack, wrong board!  I tried to post my review so umm...

What films by Joe D'Amato and George Eastman are any good?  I've Anthropophagus 2 and Porno Holocaust are supposed to be decent, but I've not heard much on any of their other films.

I have not seen it, but you can check out Erotic Nights of the Living Dead which features Eastman and Laura Gemser.

Another D'Amato (Aristide Massaccesi) entry/crossover is Emmanuelle and the Last Cannibals which does not feature Eastman but does have Laura Gemser and Donald O'Brien (Doctor Butcher M.D./Zombie Holocaust; which, btw, if you haven't seen it, put it on a must see list). Emmanuelle and the Last Cannibals is basically a sleazy cannibal movie, lacking the animal cruelty of so many other cannibal movies.

If you want sleaze and gore, and don't mind the animal cruelty, Eaten Alive offers that. (no, not the Tobe Hooper movie)

I actually have Emmanuelle and the Last of the Cannibals as Zombie Holocaust and Eaten Alive both.  I really enjoyed Zombie Holocaust, and I found Eaten Alive pretty over the top, but enjoyable at some points.  I think I'll check out Erotic Nights of the Living Dead as well.  Thanks!

Do you mean the guy with 57 different aliases?

Not as director, but as the cinematographer, "The Anti-Christ.," has gotten some good reviews. Not only for its cinematography, but also because it is one of the better rip-offs of "The Exorcist."

As director, the only one of his I have seen, but still would recommend, and I really don't know why, is "2020 Texas Gladiators." Maybe because it doesn't make any sense, or maybe because it rips off so many better movies, "The Road Warrior" among them.
