And I look just like my avatar...  :buggedout:

Well, at first I thought you were maybe a teenage kid because you had A Bug's Life avatar.
Then, you later mentioned you were married and when you changed your avatar to Elvira, I thought maybe you were an older guy who either really liked Elvira...or were really in touch with your feminine side.

Other than that, I can't recall you ever giving any kind of hint that you were a female.
So naturally, I thought you were a guy.
Go back to the "What's a Karma?" topic...that is the biggest hint I can think of. You probably didn't read the thread because you already knew what a karma was or you were there before I was.  There's other little hints here and there but I can't point them out.

I rarely use the drive thru, I can get out and go in and get it faster with less chance of a screw up than if I when to use the drive thru ... I don't know how many times I've gone in and got my food and left and saw the same cars in the drive thru lane that was there when I went inside. The more time you try to save the more you waste. It's like getting pizza delivered it takes a hour or longer around here to get one, whereas if you drive in and pick it up it take 15-20 minutes max and you don;t have the added delivery fee every one charges here now for gas or tips.

Try going inside and getting it verses driving thru, you'll find I think that going in is faster in most cases.

I took to going in instead of driving as well long ago.I think the sh!tty speakers don"t help alot as well.

SAY NO MORE!!!! A wink's as good as a nod to a blind bat!

Back to the topic for a mere second, my dad never used the drive-thru, believing it was quicker, mostly he was right. But I tend to buy fast food in off-peak hours or times when only the drive-thru is open. I guess I come out about even or have no choice of going inside.

I have little trouble with getting my orders mixed up but I tend to keep it simple and find an item I like as is or I go elsewhere. Or I get two small burgers or sandwiches and no sides, just the way I eat these days.

I used to ask for no onions sometimes at Burger King, but after getting a burger with no onions but double helping of mayo a few times, I just pull the onions off myself when I don't want them.

A number of years ago, an urban legend did the rounds of South Africa that a McDonalds in Pretoria North employed a person working on the drive-thru who made a habit of putting his loogeys / greenies  :buggedout: onto the client's burgers. That branch almost closed down as a result of that unfounded rumour.

I buy all my snotburgers there!!!!!!Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm............nutrition! :teddyr: :tongueout:

Jack in the Box came to Central VA, back in the mid '70s, & didn't last very long.
It started out with reports that they were putting horse meat in their burgers, then they found out that that meat was coming from Australia, which started reports that they were putting kangaroo meat in their burgers.

What always bugged me, was that I was the only kid on the block who never got one of those square basketballs.

Yeah, but did you try their soylent green burgers?  Mmmmm, tasty.

I really can't eat fast food anymore, it just doesn't sit well in my stomach, and I'm not a health nut by any means.

I stopped by the Wendy's up the road from my house the other night.

I got a taco salad and a 5 piece chicken nuggets.

I got home and hadn't checked my order. They had forgotten to give me the chili beans to pour over the salad in addition to the 5 piece chicken nuggets. they at least had the common courtesy to give me the honey mustard sauce however.

So, I go back there only to find out that they're out of chili.  so, I give the salad back in exchange for a jalapeno cheeseburger thing.  I also managed to get the chicken nuggets.  But they were cold as ice.

I get home and they've also forgotten to put the jalapeno's on the burger.   :hatred:

Once again I go by that Wendy's AGAIN, they apologize to me and tell me that they're out of jalapeno's.   :hatred: :hatred: :hatred:

Trying not to kill the guy working the counter, I politely just tell them to give me my money back.  He then proceeds to tell me that they can't as their credit card machine went on the fritz and they can't give me cash back as I paid with debit card.

I proceed to tell him that if he values his life, he'll just give me the cash back.    He does this and I then go to a nearby chinese place and got some chicken lo mein.

Hi, Raj :bouncegiggle: :bouncegiggle: :bouncegiggle: :bouncegiggle: :bouncegiggle:

Just a spoiler reminder: what you mentioned is People!  :teddyr:

We Africans have evolved, we don't cook and eat people any more. :buggedout:

No, we don't. :tongueout:

We now have chefs to cook the people, food tasters and waiters to serve them! :teddyr:
