Just bought all the X-Men issues from the 60's through 2005, on a single DVD, in PDF format.

Ohhhhh, yeah. =) Got my mountain dew right here. Gonna be a long night.

Long night? Don't you mean long month??? You've just trodden down a very dangerous path: I tend to latch onto a tv show/comic series etc, and I'll probably start reading/watching, and hours later, still be going until I have to force myself away...

Oh how jealous I would have been at one time, having read everything from #123 up until about mid 1994, plus a some of the earlier stuff. I own most everything from the 140s through when I quit reading them. Tried to restart a time or two, but I was really annoyed when they split the teams into seperate titles. I had hit X-overdose from all the spinoffs, limited series, summer double issues, crossover storylines, collectable covers for the same damn issues.

Does it include the annuals or say, Giant Size #1 or Bizarre Fantasy #27 (I think I have that title right)?

I'm sure it's nice & all, but there's just no way I could sit at my computer for hours and hours reading comics on it.
Comics are meant to be read in book form. Made of paper.
It seems like blasphemy to read them all on a home PC.

I've downloaded and read a few comics on my computer. It's ok, but I can't do it for very long. Just not as enjoyable.

I agree. Comics on cd or dvd are only useful for if you need to look something up, like if you're like "hmm, what issue was it when nightcrawler joined the team?" and you could go and look, but to just sit down and read, ya gotta go with the book form, man.

If your monitor is big enough, it isn't much eyestrain. =)

I just like having the actual book in my hands, turning the pages and the smell of the ink on the page.
C'mon...who hasn't held a comic book up to their nose and sniffed it?

Having them all on a PC would be nice...but it wouldn't be the same.

But if you prefer them on PC, then by all means read away.

I don't have many comics but the one's I do have should be worth big $$ in the future.
I've got a few of the old Ghost Rider comics from the 70's (but they're in fair to poor condition) and several #1 mint condition issues of more obscure Marvel characters like Darkhawk, Sleepwalker, Deathlok and Foolkiller.
Darkhawk is one of my all-time favorite Marvel heroes.

The most valuable one I have right now is "The Savage She-Hulk" #1 from 1979.
All the websites online say it's from 1980 but my comic has "1979" printed on it.
That one goes for over $20 last time I looked. (it's been awhile since I checked the price)
That's not much, I know...but I'm proud of it because it's also in mint condition.

By the way, it's rumored that there may possibly be a She Hulk movie starring Eva Mendez as Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk.

That's a cool deal,but I,like Ash,enjoy the smell of a comicbook.Back in the 70's when I collected comics,the first thing I did was smell it long and deep.(Boy,that sounds almost perverted.)I collected Sgt.FURY,CAPTAIN AMERICA,the BLACK PANTHER,the INVADERS, the Marvel western reprints,the Marvel monster reprints,and others too numerous to mention. I forgot most of the plots,and the books have been long gone...
but the smell....ahhhhh! it still lingers....
