Just a brief note here, as I don't know who amongst us follow such things, but I just got an e-mail out of the blue that a film I did last year, "Still Water", has apparantly gotten into some sort of prize situation with the "Flickering Images" film festival, and will be getting a Hollywood screening.
Also, there's an actual review by an anonymous professional who mentions me by name:  " . . . and Peter Johnson does a nice little job with the Landlord . . .".
Co-incidentally, the Art Director for that film has a small part with me in my current stage play, "The Solid Gold Cadillac", in Longmont, Colorado, opening on my birthday, March 9.
I don't know how to post web-connections in these little blocks, like you do with e-mail, so I'll just say if your're curious, please type in "Flickering Images" & check it out.

With the new forum, rather than having to code the link as before, just copy and paste the URL into your post and it will automatically become an active link, after you click the preview or post button.

For example:

The URL:http://scanlinesdvd.inc.md/

And after being copied and pasted into a post (after you click the preview or post button): http://scanlinesdvd.inc.md/ (I am so bad :tongueout:)

Great news Peter!  I remember a while back, you speaking about the film and saying that you were going to play the Landlord.

Good to hear that the Satan's Onion is getting recognized.

My wife Googled a bit awhile back from some popular blogger -- Please don't think I actually know what that all really means --  Who went into Rhapsodies about how great it was that there was someone on the Internet called "Gimp:  The Satan's Onion" --
I printed into my scrapbooks.  Don't know if it's still out there.
Such is fame . . .

Gimp: The Satan's Onion...sound like that should be to the tune of "Puff, the magin dragon".
Just a thought...

So, obviously, I missed the entire "format change" discussion, or didn't care, or thought I cared . . .
This will take some getting used to . . . Right now, I miss the old Format, but, of course, time marches on . . .

I was going to post something about how in your IMDB photo you don't look how I'd pictured you, as cliche as that is.

But you do slightly resemble a local retired drama teacher/actor turned TV personality/local tourism cheerleader/religious one man show performer.

But by your posts here and your tastes in films you are way cooler than that guy ever could be.
