Before I begin, let me introduce myself. My name is Matt, and I am 15 years old. I like all kinds of movies, but especially horror, sci-fi, and of course b movies.
Now here's my story:

I was down in my basement a couple days ago, and I found a copy of Godzilla Vs. Mothra, brand new in its original wrapping. Didn't even know I had it.

So I was wondering, should I open it and watch it? I haven't seen it yet, and it looks pretty good.
However, I heard that a movie like this, brand new, can sell for quite a lot. I don't know how much, but I'm sure someone would buy it for quite a sum of money. Then again, I wouldn't really have any way of selling it online, and it is a collector's item.

So, do you think I should open it and watch it, or keep it as a collectible or sell it?

I doubt its worth anything.  It might be worth something 30 years from now though.

Is it on DVD yet?

Yeah, I think they just released it in a new edition with the American and Japanese versions.
Eh, I guess I'll just watch the one I have.

I have the Simitar DVD of this one.  However, if the Master Collection DVD (due on in April) is the same quality as the original "Godzilla" and "Godzilla Raids Again" that they put out - then that version will be a must have.  Though the Godzilla suit has droopy dog jowels in this movie - they actually flap around - I like it a lot.  He is a walking natural disaster and the giant insect god of Infant Island is a neat addition to the Godzilla universe.
