Woodworkers ALERT ... tell me this isn't cool! I've been woodworking for years, and I can't imagine what a PITA (Pain in the A$$) this thing was to make, and it's looks so simple.

Wow! That's amazing! I knew a guy who built a working safe out of wood, complete with a plexiglass door to prove that the workings were all wood. He also made a globe bar (a globe that opened to reveal glasses and liquor bottles) and a few other things that just floored me. I'm a poor woodworker (I've made a few things, but nothing particularly intricate) and appreciate stuff like this.

Thanks for sharing, CheezeFlixz!

Good bye, Mr. Bond... ACTIVATE THE TABLE!

That's what I was thinking. Made me think of The Flintstones too, for some reason..

I don't even want to think of the amount of time that went into making the thing work and everything fit together so smoothly, the number of cams, levers and gears and still have room for the center star to recess .... ooow my head is hurting. :buggedout:

Holy chicharone Batman, that is one nifty table, I have no idea how it's done but it must have been a pain to get right     Fine example of craftmanship in wood.

Wow!
That was pretty neat.

I wonder how much it'd retail for?

It would come in handy for easy clean up in a rush, just put everything in the middle and close it up.  :buggedout: I wonder how long it took them to make this, that's a lot of work. It's beautiful.

That is beautiful.  I wonder about the wood, since wood is something that will swell or shrink due to humidity.  I imagine that it is veneer over something that is stable, like plywood.  Still, that is just an amazing bit of work.  Getting the pieces to fit perfectly together marks it as a masterwork no matter what.
